Macbeth On Stage In Barbados

The Gale Theatre of London and Barbados is presenting to an excited theatre public in Barbados MACBETH. Macbeth is a play by William Shakespeare and is adapted and directed by Glen Walford. Glen Walford was the producer of last year's critically acclaimed Blithe Spirit which played at the Holder's Season. The play stars Alison Sealy-Smith of Barbados and Peter Temple of the United Kingdom. Its youngest actor is Christopher Morgan of Harrison College a NIFCA Award Winner. The Gale Theatre was established in 2007 and unites talent from Barbados and the United Kingdom. It presents classical and modern plays in a Caribbean context where appropriate.

Macbeth is one of Shakespeare's most well known tragedies and will be playing at the Frank Collymore Hall April 5-13, 2008. Tickets are available at the Super Centre stores and CS Pharmacy. Come and see this Caribbean inspired gem. See you at the theatre!
